Rezident SAH 2022
“În proiectul meu din satul Hundorf am documentat oamenii și locurile, inspirată de natură, relațiile dintre oameni și am încercat să înțeleg ce înseamnă acasă pentru noua generație: copii, tinere mame, adolescenți. În fiecare zi m-am plimbat cu aparatul meu pe film, de obicei spre apus, cel mai magic moment din zi pentru fotografie.”
"Ce m-a interesat cel mai mult a fost conexiunea dintre oameni, legătura dintre mame și copiii lor, sărutul lor, îmbrățișarea lor, relațiile copiilor cu animalele lor, prietenia, poezia unui loc care este în constantă legătură cu oamenii.”
Maria Guțu a fost intens implicată în cunoașterea tinerilor din Hundorf, care au primit-o în casa lor, unde au stat la povești. Fotografiile pe film ale Mariei surprind dinamic tinerețea și copilăria în mod jucăuș și spontan: mersul la pădure, la tăiat lemne, plimbările cu căruța.
Maria Guțu este interesată de fotografia documentară, locuri retrase, viața tinerilor, precum și de noțiunea de acasă și relația dintre oameni și mediul acestora. S-a născut în 1996 în Republica Moldova. În 2022 și-a terminat studiile la Școala de Fotografie Modernă, Sankt Petersburg și a studiat cinematografie timp de patru ani la Chișinău. În 2018 a fost aleasă una dintre cele mai bune femei fotograf sub 30 de ani conform topului făcut de Artpil. În 2019 primește o bursă din partea CDFD ( Centrul de Fotografie Documentară) din București, România. În 2020 ajunge finalistă a People Photography Award lansat de The Independent Photographer. Din 2021 Maria este membru WomenPhotograph. A avut expozitii colective in Romania, Franta si Statele Unite.

"In my project at Hundrof (Viișoara) village I documented people and places. Inspired by nature, human relationships, I tried to understand what home means for the young generation: children, young mothers and teenagers. Everyday I was walking in the village with my film camera, usually at golden hour, the most magical time for photography. I was working slowly, spending time with conversations, discovering new places and of course, shooting."
"What has interested me the most was people's connections, the bond between the mother and the child, their kiss or their hug, relationship between people and animals friendship, the poetry of the land that is in constant contact with the people."
Maria Guțu dived herself into the world of the youths of Hundorf. They welcomed her into their house and shared stories. Her film photography playfully captures how the youth spend their time in the village: going out in the forest, cutting wood, walking with the horse carts.
Maria Guțu is interested in documentary photography, remote places, youth, notion of home and the relation between humans and environment. She was born in 1996 in Moldova, Republic of. In 2022 she finished her studies at School of Modern Photography, Saint Petersburg. In 2020 she finished her studies at Academy of Music, Theatre, and Fine Arts in Chisinau. She studied cinematography for 4 years. In 2018 she became one of 30 women photographers under 30 years by Artpil. In 2019 she receive CDFD(Centre of Documentary Photography) grant, Bucharest, Romania. In 2020 she became finalist of 2020 People Photography Award by The Independent Photographer. From 2021 Maria is a member of WomenPhotograph. She had collective exhibitions in Romania, France and The United States.
